LETTERPRESS REIMAGINED AT SISSINGHURST

This week I was at Sissinghurst Castle, marbling paper and binding notebooks as part of the Letterpress Reimagined project

A group of volunteers are working with Vicki Adams to produce a limited edition run of 'Sissinghurst’ - a poem written by Vita Sackville-West (1930) and printed on the Minerva Press that Leonard and Virginia Woolf used for a number of years - as a hand typeset and letterpress printed reproduction of the original.

Next week I will be taking the group on a special 'Bloomsbury Books' tour of Charleston and Monk's House.
