Othello - A Bestiary (With Floral Additions)












Lately I've been busy with Borbonesa, working on Othello - A Bestiary (With Floral Additions). Tomorrow is the first of two parties to launch the concertina bookwork, which is a wordless reworking of William Shakespeare's Othello as an illustrated collection of common, rare and fabulous animals.

I wrote a foreword to the bookwork, which is illustrated by Ian Whitmore.

Yesterday I printed the cover wrappers during a workshop with students at Portsmouth University:

'Othello - A Bestiary (with Floral Additions)' is launched in Portsmouth's New Theatre Royal on Saturday 3 September 2011.
The event is free and includes a music by Robert Stillman.
